Inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and sprinkled with the backstage chaos of rock ‘n’ roll history, The Dream reimagines the classic tale as a modern music festival where love, ambition, jealousy and magic collide.
As Bottom and his band, The Mechanicals, prepare to launch their epic new album, chart-topping supergroup The Lovers are imploding spectacularly at the height of their fame. Somewhere between the dressing rooms, festival fields and fairy-haunted backstage tents, reality begins to unravel.
Expect live music, larger-than-life characters, festival magic, backstage drama and plenty of laughs in this fast-paced two-actor theatrical adventure.

Both trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Piers and Suzannah’s combined credits include the RSC, the BBC, the West End, and Shakespeare’s Globe. The Dream promises to be a joyous, music filled theatrical adventure.
